geboren am 20. März 1581 in Trient als Sohn einer 1585 geadelten Familie aus Judikarien; Theologiestudium in Innsbruck, Dillingen und am Collegium Germanicum in Rom. Priesterweihe am 4. Juni 1605; 1610 Domherr in Brixen, 1616/17 Pfarrer von Brixen; vertrat den Brixner Bischof mehrfach beim Tiroler Landtag; von 1619-1624 Generalvikar des Bistums Brixen. 1625 Domkapitular in Trient, 1625 Domdekan, 1632 Dompropst; 26. April 1634: Ernennung zum Weihbischof in Brixen (Titularbischof von Belline) , Bischofsweihe am 17. Februar 1625 in Trient. 1639 Obsorge für das Hospital in Klausen; am 16. Juli 1647 per Akklamation zum Bischof von Brixen gewählt, päpstliche Bestätigung vom 30. März 1648.
