Alter: 21; Lehrer aus Sachsen und Bergführer aus Sölden stiegen mit einer Alpinistengruppe vom Similaungletscher Richtung Marzellgletscher ab. Beide wagten sich zu weit auf eine Schneewechte, die abbrach. Stürzten 600m tief ab. Gstrein zuerst in Vent begraben, dann exhumiert und nach Sölden gebracht.
