Digital Zeitungsberichte aus Bote für Tirol und Vorarlberg, Tiroler Bote, Tirolensien über den Brand in der Kirche Telfes, ausgelöst durch Blitzeinschlag wurde der Hochaltar zerstört, die Sakristei und dort aufbewahrte wertvolle Paramente, auch die Orgel wurde teilweise ruiniert.
