Alter: 33; Postenkommandant der Gendarmerie in Mieders, gebürtig in Thaur. War in der Nacht am Heimweg vom Bahnhof Patsch Richtung Stefansbrücke. An einer gefährlichen Stelle rutschte er aus und stürzte in die Sill. Seine Leiche wurde nicht gleich gefunden. Erst am 10.6.1895 am Fuße des Bergisel angeschwemmt. Wurde ins Garnisonsspital gebracht und anschließend im Militärfriedhof begraben.
