Alter: 46; Bauer wurde nach einem Gang zu einem Markt vermisst. Wollte dort eine Kuh verkaufen. Diese fand man später in der Ötztaler Ache, vom Mann fehlte jede Spur. Im März 1882 (!) gab Sebastian Krismer aus Karres zu, das Opfer ermordet zu haben. War zwischenzeitlich wegen Brandstiftung arretiert und befand sich zuletzt in einem Gefängnis in OÖ (Innsbrucker Nachrichten 31.1.1881, 5).
