Alter: 19; Gruppe machte eine Skitour. Unterhalb des Tuxerjochhauses wurde sie von einer Lawine verschüttet. Suchmannschaft konnte ihre Leichen noch nicht finden. Die Peters waren Lehrersöhne aus Hippach, Perktold war Kooperator. Eine Gedenktafel für die Opfer wurde am 31.7.1949 am Tuxer Joch angebracht (Tiroler Tageszeitung 2.8.1949, 3).
